The Hermitage
The hermitage is our most secluded, private and basic accommodation.
It is sited up the hill, in the heart of Benedict's wood, away from any other buildings.
There are electric lights, electrical sockets and cold running water.
Robust items are left permanently in the hermitage, more vulnerable items (i..e. cushions, pillows and toilet roll) will be provided for you to take to the hermitage in a wheelbarrow on your arrival.
You need to be willing to live simply, and bring your own food and sleeping bag.
The Hermitage was given by a supporter of Sheldon as a gift to the church. We request that hermits make a gift to Sheldon at whatever level is appropriate for them.
